Holy Father,
We write to you as concerned global citizens, moved beyond silence by the unrelenting suffering in Gaza. We are not politicians, generals, or diplomats. We are mothers, fathers, teachers, students — people who still believe that human life, wherever it is born, has the same value.
In Gaza, hundreds of thousands of civilians — many of them children — are trapped under bombs, without safe passage, without clean water, without hope. Hospitals have become tombs, schools are crumbling, and entire families vanish in seconds.
We know that Your Holiness has spoken on many occasions about peace, justice, and the sacredness of life. We ask you now not to speak — but to cry out.
We ask that the Holy See use its moral and diplomatic power to demand:
Even in war, children deserve to live.
Your voice can awaken millions. It can save lives.

Le scriviamo come cittadini del mondo, col cuore colmo di dolore per quanto sta accadendo a Gaza. Non siamo politici, né esperti. Siamo padri, madri, insegnanti, giovani: persone che credono ancora che ogni vita abbia lo stesso valore.
A Gaza, centinaia di migliaia di civili – soprattutto bambini – sono intrappolati sotto le bombe, senza vie sicure, senz’acqua, senza futuro. Gli ospedali sono diventati tombe. Le scuole macerie. Famiglie intere cancellate in un istante.
Sappiamo che Vostra Santità ha parlato più volte di pace e giustizia. Ora Le chiediamo di non parlare, ma di gridare.
Le chiediamo di usare la Sua voce e l’influenza morale della Santa Sede per:
Anche in guerra, i bambini hanno diritto di vivere.
La Sua voce può risvegliare coscienze. Può salvare vite.
